At Extreme Products, we aim to be your go-to destination for firearms and firearm accessories. While we strive to keep a wide range of items in stock, we might not always have everything you need. We’re more than happy to order any out-of-stock items for you, though sometimes availability can be limited, and a dealer transfer might be necessary.
Our firearm transfer policy is designed to get your firearm to you as quickly as possible. Please take a moment to review our transfer policy and fees. We want to make your transfer process smooth and hassle-free, but please allow 24-48 hours for processing. We’ll give you a call as soon as your transfer is ready for pickup.
Please DO NOT rely on a shipper’s delivery confirmation as proof that your firearm transfer is ready for pickup. Wait for a call from Extreme Products to confirm. We promise, we won’t leave you hanging!
Step 1: Contact Extreme Products
Before starting the transfer process, the transferring FFL must contact us to request our FFL information before shipping any firearms. Please ask the transferring dealer to reach out by phone (503) 657-4806 or by email sales@extremeproductspdx.com to exchange FFL information.
Step 2: Arrange for Firearm Shipment
After coordinating with the transferring dealer and providing all required information, you must arrange for the firearm to be shipped to Extreme Products. Make sure your dealer adheres to all federal and state regulations concerning firearm shipping to prevent any legal issues.
Step 3: Wait for Extreme Products to call you
Please allow Extreme Products time to receive and check in your firearms. We will contact you as soon as your firearm is ready for pickup.
Firearms transfers can only be completed by the individual whose name is listed on the transfer documentation. We are unable to release firearms to friends, family members, or any other individual on your behalf.
Step 4: Visit Extreme Products for Background Check
Once the firearm has been delivered to our location, you will need to visit Extreme Products to complete the transfer process. Below are the fees for the transfer:
- FFL transfer fee is $60.00 for the first firearm and $15.00 for each additional firearm.
- Fee includes the FICS background check, provided all firearms are processed on the same day.
- NFA transfer fee is $150.00 per transfer.
- This fee includes a FICS background check, if applicable
Step 5: Complete Necessary Paperwork
At Extreme Products, you’ll need to complete the required paperwork for the firearm transfer. This includes filling out a transfer form, providing identification, and signing any necessary documents.
Step 6: Take Possession of the Firearm
Once all paperwork is completed and the background check has been approved, you will be able to take possession of the transferred firearm.
Unclaimed transfers are considered abandoned after 90 days, and become property of Extreme Products.
